Students need more exposure to facts earlier.
Students can’t learn about animals unless they have necessary background knowledge of diverse habitats and physical features. Students didn’t have language to understand a math word problem about an airport or basic geography to grasp immigration patterns in Asia, Africa, or Alabama. Students who don’t know much about planets can’t understand our solar system, and the list goes on.
